After staying at Glendine Inn in Kilkenny, I found it to be a budget-friendly option, albeit with some areas needing attention. The room, at €69, was basic but served its purpose, though the tired decor was evident. The ensuite, though small, had a powerful shower with ample hot water, a welcome touch. The bar area was recently renovated but lacked warmth; I recommend dining in town instead. The staff at dinner were a bit brusque, and the room facilities showed signs of wear.Despite shortcomings, the staff were polite, the breakfast menu was satisfactory, and the value for the room was reasonable. The property offers free parking, a plus, and is close to the town center for those willing to walk. A decent choice for a short stay, especially if seeking affordability over luxury.
